Facebook has changed the interface for its Find Friends Browser , switching to checkboxes for filtering, adding infinite scroll, and making the Add as Friend buttons constantly visible. The friend suggestion tool has been refocused to help you find other users that share profile traits with your friends, not just you. The feature defaulted to display other users that shared a profile trait with a user in one of a few categories, such as high school or college. This interface was better suited to finding people you had met numerous times within that shared context, but not added as friends. The change favors users who have been on Facebook for awhile and probably have more friends still left to be found in the networks of friends than their own. Now, users first see suggestions of users with a variety of shared networks and connections with them and their friends. Users can simultaneously filter this pool of suggestions through pre-made filters of popular entries in different categories including high school, college, employer, hometown, current city, or mutual friend.

Facebook is the default social networking solution for personal as well as business marketing. Even major corporations such as financial institutions and auto parts stores are using Facebook as a key marketing tool. To make the best use of Facebook for your business, you must connect with a wide network of people. Using the Facebook application for the iPhone, you can use the application's "Find Friends" feature to access your iPhone contact list and it will search Facebook so you can send out friend requests to your contacts. Swipe the screen to the right, which exposes the Facebook application menu.
Many of them are fake accounts, set up by spammers and hackers trying to get some of your information. Deleted Facebook friend requests become followers meaning they can see anything and everything you post to Facebook publicly. Case in point: I deleted a friend request last week from someone I knew was posing as someone else. Their profile photo was one taken off the internet.
